Through no fault of the team, horrendous rain and my roof tiles breaking, the system took longer than anticipated to fit, nobody's fault just the unique set of circumstances. I have absolutely no qualms in recommending SSS 100%, a good price, neat and tidy job and friendly helpful staff.
Had an Ohme charger fitted by Solar Specialists. The guys were great to deal with, very personal. Spoke with Michael on Monday, was surveyed on the Thursday by the other owner Kevin, then installed on the Tuesday. Very neat and tidy install, kept me up to date with order, arrival times etc. Would highly recommend and would use again no problem at all.

They ensured that everything fitted into a timescale that worked for me. The guys did an excellent job of installation, with Sean ensuring that everything was completed to a high standard, and Kevin also in attendance at the start to ensure that everything was in order. I have recently had solar panels, a battery and a car charger installed by this company. The products were sold to me without any pressure and a full explanation was given of installation process and costs. Kevin was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the products. The installation went without any issues and the installers turned up at the time and date that was arranged. The panels are all up and running and producing power on completion of the work. The installers were quick and professional - the whole thing done in one day. We contacted ESS recently to get some help with the export MPAN and they followed this up quickly, so after sales is very good too. I have now recommended ESS to 2 other friends without hesitation.

Solar is a bit of a minefield and I had numerous people out to the house all of which told me conflicting information about what I needed to make it work efficiently for me. I was pretty confused and so started doing a bit of research myself. This company are very close to where I live so I decided to get a local company out for one last quote. Kevin came to the house, listened to me and told me exactly what I needed and why. There was absolutely no hard sell. He just presented the facts and left me to think about it. I appreciated this greatly as I hate being put under pressure. I could tell he was being open and straightforward too. They were not the cheapest, not the most expensive but certainly the most transparent. Once I had decided to go with them the whole process was completely straightforward. The panels were fitted last week and have been up and running since the minute they left my home. I had a little issue with my car charger but Kevin came back out and fixed that for me straight away. I also feel confident that if anything else happens I can contact them and they will put it right. Very good experience. Thank you. It makes a very pleasant change these days!
